# Tityra: MX Audit

AI agents and automated systems may experience your website differently from people. Tityra's Machine Experience (MX) Audit finds issues that make content hard to access and understand, with documented findings and practical recommendations.

[Machine Experience (MX)](/machine-experience) focuses on making digital content easier for software, including AI systems, to access, interpret and use.

> SEO, GEO & AEO: "Can people find your content in search and AI answers?"
>
> Machine Experience (MX): "Can software access, interpret and use your content?"

## What the audit reviews

We review how your websites and digital content are delivered and structured, then provide documented findings and practical recommendations for your team. When machines miss important information, your content may be represented incompletely or inaccurately in AI-powered tools and answers.

Website checks include HTML structure, Schema.org data and automated accessibility checks, plus available source, date and usage information. Checks for other digital content depend on the format and agreed scope.

For website audits, we compare the original HTML with the page after JavaScript runs to identify differences in the available content. Findings help teams choose improvements and establish a baseline for future checks.

Scores summarise the agreed checks. They do not certify full accessibility conformance or predict AI citations, rankings or recommendations.

## Who It's For

[Built for businesses with content that matters.](/#who-its-for)

Whether you manage hundreds of pages, complex digital resources or multiple websites, Tityra helps you understand how machines experience your content.

- **[Publishers & Media](/publishers):** For organisations managing articles, digital publications and multiple content brands.
- **[Ecommerce & Retail](/ecommerce):** For businesses with content-heavy online stores, product information and digital catalogues.
- **[SaaS & Technology](/technology):** For companies publishing product information, documentation and knowledge resources.
- **[Agencies & Partners](/agencies):** For teams helping clients identify and improve machine-readability issues across websites.

## From a first check to a clear plan

Choose your audit and share the websites and digital content you want reviewed. We agree the scope with you, then assess your content and organise the findings into a report. Use the recommendations to plan improvements; repeat the audit to measure what changed.

The process appears below the audience cards in [Who It's For](/#who-its-for). The “Get your free MX Audit” button opens the free audit form. The legacy [process link](/#process) leads to this same section; it is not a separate menu item.

## Request an audit

[Request a Free MX Audit by email](mailto:info@tityra.com?subject=Free%20MX%20Audit%20request). Audit links open the form for the selected package with JavaScript, or an email request otherwise. Use an audit link in [pricing](/#pricing) or on the [Publishers & Media](/publishers), [Ecommerce & Retail](/ecommerce), [SaaS & Technology](/technology) and [Agencies & Partners](/agencies) pages to open the form for the selected package. Provide your name, work email, company, website URL (starting with https:// or http://), audit scope / type and your relationship to the website. Organisation type and notes are optional. Private document access can be agreed by email; do not send passwords or sensitive personal information.

Available audit scopes: Website; Documents; Digital content; Website, documents, and digital content. Website relationships: Owner / team; Agency / authorised representative; Other.

The unchecked-by-default authorisation checkbox is required: “I own this website or I'm authorised to request an audit of it.” The request email records the declaration, timestamp, request identifier and notice version. The declaration does not prove authority; scope and authority require manual review before work begins or a report is disclosed.

Online request collection is enabled. Delivery requires the configured enquiry mailbox and form verification. Each report is reviewed by a member of our team before delivery; there is no instant report. Requests do not automatically start an audit or take payment. Next steps are agreed by email.

Successful audit request confirmation:

> Thanks for requesting an MX Audit. We've received your request. Each report is reviewed by a member of our team before delivery, so you won't receive an instant report. We'll contact you by email about the next steps.

For general enquiries, “Discuss an audit” opens a separate form requiring a name, email and enquiry details. A phone number is optional. See [API documentation](/api-docs.md) for the website form contract.

## Privacy and cookies

The [privacy notice](/privacy) covers requests, collected audit content, service providers, retention, international transfers and your rights. Audit request details, contact information and request progress are stored in the Tityra app using MongoDB Atlas. Collected website content, scan data and reports are stored in our Microsoft 365 enquiry mailbox. Access is restricted to our team. Audit content is not sent to external AI or analysis services. Google Cloud Run hosts the website, forms and the Tityra app, Resend delivers form messages, Cloudflare Turnstile protects submissions, and Google Analytics is used only after analytics consent.

Audit requests, collected content, raw scan data and reports are deleted within 90 days of report delivery, or within 90 days of the outcome when a request ends without a report. A longer period for reports and audit data may be agreed in writing. General enquiry messages and contact details are deleted within 12 months of the enquiry being closed. Accounting records are kept for six years from the end of the last company financial year they relate to, or longer where UK accounting and tax rules require it. Hosting server logs are kept for up to 30 days. Non-identifying aggregated analysis may be retained for research; you can object by contacting [info@tityra.com](mailto:info@tityra.com). The notice explains legitimate interests, contract with individuals, legal obligation and consent, as well as the transfer protections in provider terms. It is approved for publication and included in the sitemap.

The [cookie information page](/cookies) explains optional Google Analytics, saved preferences and how to change your choice. Analytics loads only after acceptance; advertising features are disabled. The _ga and _ga_* cookies last up to six months. The browser stores the choice under tityra_analytics_consent_v1 for 180 days. Change the choice on the Cookies page or through “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Both controls link to /cookies#cookie-preferences. JavaScript saves the choice in this browser; until a choice is saved, analytics stays off. Rejecting or withdrawing consent stops further analytics tracking and removes accessible analytics cookies.
